A good skin serum contains a high concentration of active ingredients that benefit the health and appearance of skin. Active anti-aging ingredients in skin serums may include a range of super- concentrated antioxidants, peptides and skin brighteners. A serum is designed to be more potent and faster acting than typical creams and lotions. In addition, skin serums like INTENZ® products are water based, rather than oil based. They do not use unrefined petrolatum and mineral oil and contain fewer synthetic thickening agents. This results in a far superior product with a lighter consistency, and a smaller molecular composition than creams and lotions. The result is a product that is easily and deeply absorbed by the skin. Just a few drops go a long way.

Your skin is more receptive to different ingredients at various times throughout the day. In the morning and afternoon when you are most active and exposed to environmental elements such as the sun, extreme weather, dust and pollution, hydration and protection is the focus. Serums boost your defenses during the day. At night when you are at rest, your skin is regenerating. Intense cell renewal and repair is being conducted and your skin care should include ingredients that support and amplify this process. Serums are most effective when they have time to penetrate the skin. Day and night serums are formulated accordingly. This is what makes the INTENZ® Skin Activator Dual Serum System so powerful! The daytime Intensive Radiance Serum and the nighttime Intensive Resurfacing Serum have been developed to work together.

Skin serum is best applied directly to the skin. Distribute one pump evenly over the face and neck. Because a good skin serum is very concentrated, there is no need to apply a thick layer. If your face feels sticky after application, you have used more than you need. A little really does go a long way. INTENZ® products will last longer and are more effective than other, diluted topical skin care products, so you enjoy more noticeable results, more quickly, and save you money.

Yes! The INTENZ® serums are a powerful duo that protect, nourish and improve your skin no matter what the appearance. Think of these serums as preventative or proactive. Just as you drink water before you are dehydrated, you’ll want to use these rich products to keep your skin looking it’s best and delay or slow additional signs of aging. While INTENZ® serums are highly effective at reducing discoloration and uneven skin tone, they also deliver key ingredients to help your skin look it’s best, especially in women between the ages of 30 and 60.

INTENZ® formulas are with natural, effective ingredients, that are completely safe when used as directed. However, as will all skin care products, individual results and reactions will vary. You may experience slight redness, or a mild tingly or itchy sensation, but this will fade. For those with especially sensitive skin, if you gradually incorporate the serums into your daily routine over the course of one week or so, you will reduce the chance of experiencing any temporary irritation. In fact, you will likely find the INTENZ® products instantly hydrate and improve the tone and texture of your skin.

Because of the damaging effects of sun and UV light, which you are often exposed to even when indoors, you should always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen. Unlike other brightening and whitening formulas that use phototoxic ingredients, INTENZ® serums do not cause UV sensitivity or amplify the damaging effects of the sun. To the contrary, INTENZ® formulas include Vitamin C to help quench UV photodamage, and seaweed, algae and plankton, that protect the skin from UV exposure.  However, INTENZ® is not a sunscreen and to prevent additional sun damage and maintain the great results you will enjoy from using INTENZ®, you will want to apply sunscreen every day.

While INTENZ® is formulated to deliver serious hydration to your skin, most customers do use other complementary products. The best method of application, to ensure the most concentrated delivery, is to apply one pump of INTENZ® evenly over the entire face and neck after cleansing. Allow the solution to penetrate for 3 – 5 minutes before applying other products. During the daytime, always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, before applying makeup.

Note: If you are on a prescription topical, please consult with your provider before using INTENZ® or any other product. Typically, a prescription topical or spot treatment is applied before serums.

You know the saying, “nothing good lasts forever”? Well, this is somewhat true in skincare as well. If your goal is to reduce discoloration and sun spots, and you are hyper vigilant about using a broad-spectrum sunscreen and limit your exposure to sun, you will be able to better maintain your results. However, because our skin continues to age, and sun and UV exposure are inevitable, you will want to continue to use the INTENZ® Serums regularly. Again, think of it like brushing your teeth, you wouldn’t stop brushing your teeth every day and using toothpaste, even if your teeth are bright and white and free of decay, today, they won’t be tomorrow, or next month, or next year, if you don’t continue to care for them. Your skin is no different!

INTENZ® serums may be used indefinitely. They are designed to be a part of your daily skin care routine and the benefits you will enjoy from long term, continued use, will be evident.
